The demos are leading the parade to our demise. The average survival of a democracy is about 200 years. History has told us using 19 democracies that averaged out to that amount of time.

1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to great courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacency to apathy;
7. From apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage

Now that you have read the eight stages, pick the one we are in right now. I'll pick #6. My TEAA's are food for thought so that we may save our country. Those who have abandoned GW, are encouraging #7. Think about it. Then Richard's communists will assure our bondage with #8. I urge you to fight it with all your moral might.
--
Changing gears; I want you to think about the damage a third party candidate in 2008 will do to us. Already people are saying either they won't vote at all, or they will vote for an independent candidate. Both statements will cause the election of a Democrat --- leaving this country in stage #7.

People are disgruntled about many issues that congress can't settle on. Even though our economy has never been better, and unemployment has never been lower, the Demos via the liberal press have no programs of their own for the good of America, but they are very successful in bashing Bush's poll points to smithereens.

And some people I once considered good friends are being fried in the Bush bashing pan. Shame on you. The following is the last paragraph I received from a TEAA reader. He had much to say prior to this paragraph. I'll let your imagination figure it out:

YOU PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ARE THE REAL TRAITORS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE NATION UNDER GOD..MY NATION MY GOD..IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GET THE HELL OUT.. I LOVE GOD AND I LOVE MY NATION UNDER GOD.. R. J.

R.J., you are the kind of patriot I would feel safe with in a Fox Hole when the bullets fly. I would not trust one single Republican defector, or someone who runs and hides when the going gets tough. I won't trust anyone who abandons GW when he needs us.

We have an honest God loving president who is trying to do his best under terrible odds. And people who leave him ought to keep on running LIKE THE COWARDS YOU ARE. I have no respect for any of them.

Any wimp that wants to start a third party rebellion, is just a traitor when times get tough. I am going to stay with my Republican party and try my very best to enhance it and save it, not run and hide from it. Yes, I am angry and disappointed - darn tootin!

2. From spiritual faith to great courage --- we need to get back to that, and we can survive another 200 years.

God bless America, God help us.

Enough for now, I'll be back!

Tom (Blogger) Craighead --- Member, Minuteman Civil Defense Corp

Listed in Marquis Who's Who In America
Editor-in-Chief: TEAA (Tom's Ezine for American Awareness)
Author: 'The Lethal Liberal Society in America' released by Publish America
Coming soon: "One of God's Salesmen" being published by Publish America
Visit my website: www.crunk-publishing.com,
Welcome to BowkerBios! I have no idea of the amount of response this organization has received, but the more it is posted, the better chance it has of being successful.

http://www.thedustininmansociety.org/blog/
March 26, 2006
National Day of protest April 17…enough!
Posted by D.A. King at 10:05 pm [Email the author] [Print This Article] [Email This Article]
A day without Americans - April 17, 2006!

In response to the recent mass national rallies fearlessly staged by the illegal alien lobby, The Dustin Inman Society is suggesting that Americans nationwide stay home from work and not spend any money on April 17. 2006 - income tax day.

The country and its government needs to witness a day without Americans.

It is not an overstatement to observe that the federal government has abandoned the American people and we teeter on the brink of national suicide.

The well-funded illegal alien lobby has been successful in galvanizing the millions of illegal aliens in the nation to march in American streets demanding no less than open borders, continued selective law enforcement and amnesty for people who should be in fear of apprehension and deportation.

It has also galvanized many Americans who are seeing for the first time the true nature and result of our intentionally unsecured borders.

Enough!

The message to the U. S. government and the world is that another amnesty for illegals is tantamount to erasing any pretense of a nation of secure borders, rule of law and a common language. Amnesty - by any name - does not stop illegal immigration.

We have reached the point in our national history at which we as a nation must choose whether to resist …or to wave the white flag of surrender.

We are suggesting that Americans who do not work in medical, law enforcement or emergency capacities stay home from work on April 17 and that we, as a united people, reply to the government that has refused to protect us by refraining from spending any money. Those who have nothing to fear from violating any law that is not beneficial to them are not the only group with power in these United States.

We are demanding that the American government offer the same protection in the United States that the Mexican government provides its people.

This is our country. We dishonor our grandfathers if we do not try to protect the republic that was lovingly passed on to us.

A national day of public opposition to illegal immigration April 17, 2006 !

Re: When In Rome

Ms. U:

Thanks for the kind comments. The issue of immigration/diversity reinforces in my mind that, to be a liberal, you must think in discrete, unconnected boxes. e.g. Policy A: America should not impose its culture on other countries because that is wrong. Other countries must keep their own cultures.
Policy B: America must allow other countries to impose their culture on America. To not allow that would be wrong.
Two contradictory positions which can only be held by not connecting them.

John

Re: When In Rome

I remember the amnesty in 1987, Mexican economical bailout by US Congress in 1994, Prop. 187 (will of the people) struck down, now this. I am watching this with interest. We intend to move to the US in a couple of years. My husband is American and I know we will STILL be grilled and probed and questioned.

I completely accept that. I know I have nothing to hide, I just want to live with my husband where he wants to live: America.

It really irritates me that so many people are allowed to just live there illegally when there are many of us who want to enter legally and become good, tax paying citizens.

Re: When In Rome

Everyone knows that we now have between ten and eleven million illegal immigrants in the U.S. O.K., so deporting them all is impractical, if not impossible. BUT - why not cut our losses and close the border NOW! Between illegal workers who don't pay taxes but use tax paid services, drug smuggling and infiltration by terrorists, you've got to wonder what our government officials are thinking. Are they stupid, taking bribes, or just plain incompetent?

Re: When In Rome

Mr. Grigg:

May I formally say "Welcome to the United States, and I'm delighted to have you as a fellow citizen!"

You are right, Mr. Grigg, and I don't think the media is telling the whole story. I've heard from so many immigrants who did it the legal way, and they feel the same outrage that most of us do! I have a very dear friend in South Africa who can't even get a Visa to come visit here! I also have another dear friend who's from Iceland, and she was married to an American. Well, they are now divorced, she's a working, productive citizen, but if she doesn't come up with the money soon, they're going to DEPORT HER! That's OUTRAGEOUS!

Why should it be so difficult for those who legitimately want to be Americans, and so easy for those who HATE America and just want to basically rape her? It doesn't make any sense to me.

Thank you again for becoming an American. America is a very gracious lady, but she will only stand so much abuse. We're glad to have you as a brother.

Ms. U

Re: When In Rome

Speaking as a LEGAL immigrant (& now US citizen): this stuff really frosts me. When I first came to the US I had no plans to stay. After 18 months in & out, I wanted to immigrate here. I played by all the rules: didn't work when I couldn't; worked exactly the job specified on a non-immigrant visa; then green card. It cost me several thousands of dollars in government fees etc. But these folks want illegal, free immigration AND the right to welfare benefits which legal immigrants cannot claim for the first three years they are here.

And one other thing: I wanted to immigrate because I fell in love with the US and wanted to become part of it, NOT because I hated it and wanted to change it.

Re: When In Rome

Thanks for all the comments, guys and gals. I'm so passionate about this I just couldn't contain my anger anymore.

As a cop, when we arrested an illegal or several, if we called INS, they'd typically ask "how many do you have?" If it wasn't a significant amount, they couldn't be bothered. I say, let's continue these protests and let them serve as loading points onto C-130s to be flown, en masse, back to Mexico!

It is beyond me why these jackasses continue to get away with murder (sometimes literally) and demand their rights! I agree about the assimilation part. Remember what happened over some stupid cartoons in Denmark? Those Muslims, like most in Europe, have never been made to assimilate, so they've always been allowed to live by their country-of-origin's laws!!! This is OUTRAGEOUS!

Did you see them marching with MEXICAN FLAGS??? This is America, by God, and Old Glory takes a back seat to NO rag! If you are marching for Mexico, then I again suggest you choose the town square in Mexico City to demand Vicente do his job as a national leader!

This is absolutely lunacy, and if allowed to go unchecked, will be the demise of our way of life as we Americans know it.

Ms. U

Re: When In Rome

We need work farms to grow our way out of oil dependency from the Muslims. CORN is the fuel of the future. We have rivers that dump millions of gallons of water into the ocean everyday, divert it for irrigation and make Federal Work Farms instead of prisons. When we catch illegal aliens PUT THEM TO WORK on these farms for 6 months for the 1st offense. Then deport them, 2nd time is 1 year, We could keep it up as long as they wanted to come here. Initally the fuel could be sent to city vehicles, school buses, and the military. Eventually we could end our dependence of foreign terrorist supplying our needed oil.

NO MORE FREE DEPORTATIONS...let them work off their deportation expenses.

Unity is strength...

Diversity is destruction...

Re: When In Rome

Could it be a conspiracy? The same should apply to immigrants who want to enter our country.
A sensible immigration policy is necessary and is fair to all who legitimately want to come to the US.
There should be a waiting list that allows adequate screening and background checks. Anyone who 'jumps' the line by illegally entering the country should have to go to the end of the line and have 2 years added to the waiting list and a hefty fine added as well.
Oh, let's also end automatic citizenship for babies born here while the mother/father is here illegally, and do away with the 'united families' policy that that moron Jimmy Carter started!

Re: When In Rome

YOU GO GIRL! And you are surely right when you say that Vincente Fox should be helping his people instead of sending them over here. I think Pres. Bush needs to stop schmoozing with Fox as well, and tell him to get his act together.

I would hope that people who come here to America would assimilate, first of all. Make the effort to come here legally. Just like anyone else. Illegals, whether they be from Mexico or not, need to do the right thing...do it the legal way. I also refer to it as the "condom syndrome". That is, "They're going to do it anyway, at least give them protection."

Democrats oppose the immigration legislation because they need the votes. This is the same reason they're trying to pass a bill to allow ex-felons to get their voting rights back! How pathetic are the Democrats! And illegals are well learned; they're imitating Democrat behavior by flaunting their illegality and demanding it be sanctioned. Yes, illegals have learned from the masters.
