No, I think it's another example of a socialist leftist paradise that simply doesn't work. It's maddening really. Putting people on government entitlements is little more than a slave population, except the slaves aren't expected to actually produce anything. It's disgusting what they've done to fellow human beings and thanks to everything from public education to public official pandering, the people of New Orleans think of their government chains as security and happiness. Which is probably why they are so frustrated. Where's the damn happiness? Where's the paradise?
