So how does someone with a dubious past remain active in the political process? I speak for myself somewhat ..., I'm not going away either.

What type of input does this Weather Underground guy offer to the Obama power base? How and what is he contributing to further the ideals of Obama?

If I were a paid supporter of McCain, incognito and with my dubious background, exposing my affiliation with his crew would be an eventual plus for his character and for the nation as a whole. I would be a plus only because of what would be revealed having contributed to what McCain and the Republican Party stands for. My dubious background may have some wonder if there wasn't a better way to accomplish what I contributed, doing so without moi. Whatever, my contribution would be revealed, the public would realize my contribution is for the best of what the McCain crowd is all about, and my counterattacking rhetoric would be awesome, I imagine.

Why would I want to make waves unnecesSarahly though? Why rock the boat? It would be best for John and his run for the Presidency if someone such as myself stayed out of the limelight.

My ideals wouldn't fit in thus I have little to contribute to the Obama crowd, though. It's best if I remain incognito with John and his crew. I'm no badge of honor for the McCain crowd to publicly display, whatever contribution I offer. Obama is wearing these Weather Underground guys like a badge though, for the votes it'll garner from that part of the Democratic Party. Fine that this is so, but what are the WU guys contributing to the Obama ticket? Is it only for the vote from a certain block of radical Democrats they want? Ok, then they set themselves out for attack on this stance. Sarah's broadsides are warranted.

I'm thinking out loud as I write this, and I have no concluding thought at the moment. So it goes.

I am just thinking out loud too. When Obama was 8 the underground guy was doing his thing what ever that was. When Obama met him later in life he was a respectable college professor at the University of Chicago, I understand. So what is the problem with that? It is not as bad as shameless John McCain prostituting his military service, while a lot of good men and women didn't come home from vietnam, and then befriending a militant anti vietnam protester who burns flags. It is not as bad as John McCain being friends with LIbby who committed felonies in the Watergate scandal. It doen't seem as bad as McCain participating in the Iran Contra Scandal. It doesn't seem as bad as McCain participating in the savings and loan Scandal. Rather than Maverick why don't we just call him "Scandal" and get on with it. It doesn't seem as bad as McCain ditiching his wife who patiently waited for him to return from vietnam and as soon as he get's back he ditches her for pretty Cindy. However, lets not dwell on that lets talk about haveing the mental tenacity to be president of this country. Fly by the seat of his pants McCain does not have the capacity to think through solutions. Whatever, comes into his mind he wants to do it. Let's fire the person over the stock exchange. No I will support the bailout. I will not appear at the debates and suspend my campaign. No I will be at the debates and continue my campain. It is just one small leap too, I'm angry so lets nuke somebody since he can't hold his temper. Some of my friends who are vietnam veterans say that McCain exhibits post traumatic stress syndrome. I say he just shows the same concentration that earned him a seat in the very last of his class in military school. I guess daddy couldn't buy you good grades.

"Doing his thing whatever that was" This statement of yours is flippant in light of Ayers' history. It is called domestic terrorism. It included the use of bombs and at least one family was terrorize dand a police officer murdered. Ayers has also said as late as 2001 that he felt he didn't do enough. Obama's political coming out party was held at Ayers' home and he's served on boards with Ayers.

McCain "prostitutes" his service.? The man served and suffered for his country and you blame him for coming home while others did not? The man cares for vets. Lefties called the men who returned from the Vietnam war baby killers, yet Obama supports killing the unborn.

The more I hear from liberals, the more I think you guys will never be satisfied. Is there psychological care in Obama's nationalized health care plan? Free meds?

I do not think that smear tactics are going to change the fact that we are in a terrible mess and because Sarah Palin @ 44, mother who leaves her family to smear Obama is no Presidential hopeful to me. Because McCain is losing they are playing dirty. How about McCains affairs while wife was in wheel chair cheating on her with little rich Cindy. Hello people. How low will the republicans go to keep us in this mess.
