This is a diffrent parish from Orleans. If defining him as a Hurricane katrina victim makes you feel better than go ahead. Doesn't matter..The guy he killed also had a family and young children . Arguing with the mother who lost a son doesn't make her son or the policeman who was caught in the crossfire and killed by this animal less vaulable than the other. You gotta understand that Nola..or New Orleans newspapers often report and define orgins wrong sometimes just to sell a paper.I understand what the mother is saying...to define him as a hurricane evacuee isn't deserved. He is not a victim of a natural disater as others who lost homes, and etc..he is a murderer and was rightfully defined. Come on do you think the victims of Katrina deserved to be grouped by this coward...... More than just blacks were affected by Katrina... as in other Gulf coast states.. besides Louisiana......=O(

Re: Not a Katrina Evacuee? He was fair to all, but was proud of his white European heritage. Not a damn thing wrong with that.

He cracked-up, when I told him the most dangerous assault weapon on the street, was the black man's penis, because it brings the next generation of robbers and rapists into the world. He sure didn't dispute that notion.

Step got along with everyone. Period. But he knew the deal...
