I find Ward-o Churchill to be a huge disappointment. He gives a bad taste to the idea of highly educated college professionals (almost) everywhere. I am sure the ACTUAL Native American members of our country are equally chagrined that he was claiming to have American Indian heritage as well. Next thing, he will be staking claims to tribal casino income shares, and blaming jewish-indian lawyers for his being cheated.
While I liked that the H&C piece didnt give him too much actual airtime...I was not too impressed with the childish lack of control of the two commentators trying to out "sound byte" each other. I think the best cure to Mr. Churchill's celebrity status is better exposure of his craziness and rantings for the public to actually hear and analyse.

I'm just glad there are people with more intestinal fortitude who can handle this guy. He makes me nauseated.
