my nephew lives in the neighborhood that nuke went off in, so it really hit home!

24 is the most realistic show on TV. And the least PC. Thank GOD for that.

But I was a little miffed that Jack had to shoot Curtis dead to save that POS Arab terrorist-turned-peacemaker. In real life, I wouldn't trust that guy for all the burqas in Saudia Arabia.

That is EXACTLLY what this country needs to see. And even though its a "TV" show look how this country and worst, some of the tresonous bastards on Capital Hill are in DENIAL about 9-11. There it is. In NY. A huge empty hole. Thousands of innocents killed. Jumping to horrific deaths. Many other thousands effected. And what is our sytstem doing about it?

Considering giving these bastards a seperate prayer room in airports and allowing CAIR to dhimmatize this country. People got to stand up. Got to get rid of the pc bullcrap and the Dem's and all the other anti-amerika assholes.

Guys & Gals, welcome to the world to come. The premise (and continuing story line for '24') is that there are still 4 more of those things out there. Reality: al-Quada's M.O. is if they have 5 nukes in the US, they will set them all off AT THE SAME TIME!
The gangs that took over New Orleans after Katrina will look like a kids birthday party compared to the chaos that will occur in the 5 cities that are hit (probably LA, NYC, and WashDC are the top 3). Every illegal (alien) gang (like MS-13) and other POS's will be preying on the citizens of those cities. Here we are, both parties of congress not protecting/securing/sealing our borders, and the DEMs wanting to take our guns away so we can't protect ourselves. I do not fear for me, but I do fear for my children. May God have mercy on America.

Not sure the 9/11 commission was truthfull. Which brings us back to a few questions. How and why The attack on two buildings became a demolition of #7 building which would have taken a lot of time to set up before the planes hit the buildings.
It was a controlled demolition.
So as far as I can see this is more scare tactics to make Americans give up more liberty to secure Safety by our Government. I know not what others think, but as for me I fear the terrorest less than my own government. If 9/11 was staged to get us to go to Iraq
somebody needs hanged for Genoside against Americans.

Not enough answers and government investigating itself is a no brainer. We need a American people investigation!

As a Canadian, my wife and I sat in quiet as we watched the switch being thrown. We both turned to each other in disbelief and commented how real the explosion looked and what a sickenning feeling that it provoked in us.

I wonder if this is what Pat Robertson saw in his vision a few weeks ago? We must pray that the evil that men and women who hate your country so much would be turned back by God's hand. It's not up to the government to try and stop this thing from happening, it is in the hands of ordinary people like you and me. Repentance and vigilance are the order of the day. Humility is the strength that the evil ones cannot tollerate. They will buckle when they see the resolve with which this nation can attain when our hearts are no longer fighting each other but fighting this evil.

It is only and T.V. show but art often precedes reality. What are we going to do about it?!!?

Remember the chaos (gangs, killings, lootings) in New Orleans after Katrina? That will look like a picnic compared to the mayhem that will occur in the whole U.S.A. after 5 of our cities are turned into craters. Keep exercising your 2nd amendment rights-you are going to need them.

Excellent show and you are right . . . this WILL happen sooner or later. They want us DEAD, there is no negotiating or talking. If you are not muslim, you are an infidel. Christians had better start standing up for their rights. There is no Jack Bower in real life. Political correctness must go. Americans need to learn how to take care of themselves in a disaster . . . the government can't do it all or even a lot in a major attack. Did anyone ever say Curtis was DEAD? They just said he was SHOT! Perhaps he's still alive . . . or maybe not! You never know with 24!!! Can't wait until next week!

Thank you for posting that video on this site. I was watching it as it was first broadcast and the first words out of my mouth were "that could really happen."

I'm glad 24 is willing to be so un-PC and realistic as to show what could happen.

For those who are curious, the show is in error about the number of "suitcase nukes" produced. The USSR made thousands of them, and over 100 are currently missing from their inventories (presumably the 5 mentioned in 24 are part of this 100). No one knows where the 100 missing nukes are.

Just a little material for thought...

I think we are so desparate to get some TV that shows the seriousness of the problem that we are lowering our standards. I thought the show has really sunk in quality. The writing and casting in particular. I posted unfavorable reviews of both premier nights. I'm still keeping an open mind, but the Prez and the two new supervisors at CTU are absolutely horrible cast choices...

This episode of 24 will wake up America that Islam Kills! Just look on the latest undercover report in the Mosques in Britain and hear and see in English of their religious leaders preaching Jihad! Wake up people they are doing the will of allah! They are doing the will of their father god who comes to kill, steal and destroy!

Actually, you will hear that Curtis is indeed dead next week. Sorry for the spoiler, but I couldn't resist shelling out 9 bucks this morning for the first 4 hours on DVD, which included the first 12 minutes of next weeks ep... relatively tame compared to what we saw in the first 4 hours.

As to the rest, America needs to wake up. Not just to the threat of nuclear terror, but to the fact that 'The People' don't really have much of a say anymore in American Politics. At the risk of sounding paranoid, most politicians don't give a rip about what their constituents think. What they DO care about are opinion polls, and the Media controls those.... We're rarely regarded as more than simple party-faithfuls who perform the tedious task of voting them back into office on election day. That's really the only time we're important. And it's our fault it's come to this.

I love this show! Seen all seasons & they continue to shock and suprise. This one did hit way too close to home. Just hope this is not the next reality show! I liked the first Palmer better.
