She didn't get a lot of money, that's true. They didn't have to pay her off big time because she was such a fan of Franklin Raines.

Doesn't it seem interesting that whenever there is a liberal program that they usually have ONE conservative and 2 or 3 libs that gang up on them?

Bill Maher is a freaking whimp that can't handle an argument one on one. He always needs support. At least in the programs I've seen him in.

Not enough? How about The View??? One conservative, three libs.

    On the other side.

Hannity and Colmes?? ONE and ONE!!! With One and One each quests.

Oh, and let's not forget that the libs are for free speech and equal time. Only for liberals though. Whenever the conservative talks they get interrrupted or shouted down.

In viewing the Federal Election Commission reports online, I could only find 2008 records. It shows Watters accepted $1000. Can anyone show she took another $14 K in previous years? If so, Maher should expose her lies. If she didn't take the 15 K, that should also be told. The problem with these types of programs is no one ever follows up to find the truth.

"When the federal government announced two months ago that it would prop up mortgage buyers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, CRP looked at how much money members of Congress had collected since 1989 from the companies. On Sunday the government completely took over the two government-sponsored enterprises, and we've returned to our data to bring you the updates, this time providing a list of all 354 lawmakers who have gotten money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (in July we posted the top 25). These totals are based on data released electronically from the FEC on Sept. 2 and include contributions to lawmakers' leadership PACs and candidate committees from the floundering companies' PACs and employees. Current members of Congress have received a total of $4.8 million from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, with Democrats collecting 57 percent of that. This week we also wrote about how much money lawmakers had invested of their own money in the companies last year--a total of up to $1.7 million. [...]

Doesn't matter. For some reason nothing seems to stick to these scoundrels. Its wierd! She might just as well have been proven to be a serial killer. They'd just laugh it off and that'd be the end of it.
John McCain had best start talking about the need for a special prosecutor. If he doesn't, folks are going to stay at home come election day. DD
