I’m Ready to Vote on Chavez’ U.N. Idea (VIDEO)

Started by MsUnderestimated · 10 months ago

How about you? You know, the one where he said he thought the U.N. ought to get out of the U.S.A.? I say, let’s do it and do it now. Not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, not net year - let’s start TONIGHT. Pink slips, one-way plane tickets back home, ... Continue reading »

  • Not to worry. Fact is, it's useful for us(the US)to allow the US monkeys to continue to operate here. Our elected reps are in control of the situation, just as we elected them to be.
Should the situation change and it become a liability for the UN to be hosted in the US, you can bet the administration (the current one, at least) will evict those monkeys and send them off to eat their own shit on someone else's territory.
Meanwhile, try to stay cool, OK?
  • Damn. Not 'allow the US monkeys', but rather 'allow the monkeys', meaning the UN.
Don't know what happened to the editor here.
  • Now, I don't like my President being bashed like that either-even Bush who almost deserves it. And the UN building is considered international soil. by the way. But what should be a red flag to all of us is the fact that 190 other countries applauded. Do we really want to isolate ourselves like that with our invasions, threats, wars, profiteering and torture? What good will that ultimately do for us? Chavez's point as well as the President of Iran is the US acts as if it owns the world. And if we continue to make wars and threats to these countries instead of meaningful negotiation we will be attacked over and over again. For what?

Let's get real, It's about oil profiteering not spreading democracy. I realize sometimes talking is not going to be effective but the billions we've spent and the lives lost so far-and potentially more in the future-will do nothing for us either.
